drama, acting careers, entertainment and so on, and
start posting what you are looking for... actors,
writers, etc. Give a link to your site, and your email
address.
Do the same things in forums and chat rooms.
Use the groups, forums, and chat rooms to post your
contests as well. You will receive entries from writers
and fledgling actors. Make sure that your contest
rules state that if they win, they will receive full
credit as the writer and that the script then becomes
their property.
You will definitely want to invest in some legal advice
when it comes to ownership rights of the scripts and
the show.
Also, make sure your actors and other talent know
that winning wins them a spot on the show and that
salaries can be negotiated later when they start to
receive a following. An entertainment attorney can
help you draw up your contracts for this.
Another talent you will need is hair and make-up.
Announce a contest for cosmetology students at your
local trade schools. It would probably need to be
at least a 6 month contest, but at every shoot day,
a different student could come to you and do your
hair and make-up and your viewers could vote on best
hair and make-up days, and the winner with the most
votes wins a job on your show for 1 year. This also
gives you a lot more free promotion to get people
to watch your show as all of your contestants are
going to be asking all of their friends and family
to watch and vote for them.
This can also work with wardrobe consultants and clothing
stores and it's free publicity to them. Just like
the Mom and Pope Furniture and Electronic Stores who
will donate items to expand their showroom in exchange
for free advertising, or will pay for their product
